I grew up immersed in traditional Eastern medicine, inspired by my grandfather and mother, who were both acupuncturists. From an early age, acupuncture and herbal remedies were a natural part of my life.
During my university years, I traveled to China, where I met a master of Tuina, a traditional Chinese manual therapy. This encounter led me to further my studies at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, where I trained in classical Tuina techniques. Upon returning to Japan, I became a nationally licensed musculoskeletal therapist, specializing in the treatment of fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries. Since then, I have gained extensive clinical experience through running my own practice and treating a wide range of patients.
As Japan’s population continued to age, I felt increasingly drawn to the importance of preventive medicine. This inspired me to research elderly physical function, eventually leading to a Ph.D. in Nursing Science.
Every pain or discomfort has underlying factors — whether it stems from postural imbalances caused by daily habits, old injuries, age-related changes, or the physical effects of emotional stress and mental fatigue.
Drawing on decades of clinical experience, my treatments begin by carefully identifying these factors. By listening to the signals your body sends through pain and tension, you can develop a deeper awareness of your condition and learn to care for yourself with greater attention and respect.
My goal is to help you rediscover the comfort, freedom, and joy of moving through each day feeling truly well.
